Over 500 young leaders are advocating for global education by joining a global youth ambassadors group recently launched by the United Nations. Two of these youth ambassadors were shot by the Taliban in Pakistan over a year ago for going to school. They have inspired others to join them to advocate for the millions of children who have been denied access to school due to poverty, early marriage, child labor and discrimination.
This advocacy group believes that education can help lift people out of poverty and is the key to building a better future. They promote the message that all children deserve the basic human right to an education.
You too can be a global education ambassador by joining this digital mobilization initiative, A World at School, to help support this basic human right for all children.
