Make This World a Better Place

As we celebrate holidays of faith and good will,  I would like to shine a light on a global call to action.

The millennium development goals that were created in 2007 to reduce poverty and inequality worldwide aim to trigger real change in people’s lives by piloting examples and supporting national programs that could be scaled into national policy.  With 130 programs in 50 countries, serving 8 programmatic areas, 25 UN agencies are working to influence public policy making it more responsive to the needs of the poor worldwide.

Watch this incredible video with amazing music from people around the world calling for freedom and justice to make this world a better place.  It is sure to put a smile on your face, get your body moving and will help you feel more optimistic and hopeful.

The faces and music illustrate the unity we all share.
